ITM performs high educational activity within:
- National and region programms (FOREME 2002, MEMORE 2006)
- Europena Projects: including Marie Curie (Nanomemcourse 2007-2010), IMETI (2008 - 2012); Nemopur (2008 - 2012); ILMC (2010-2012); Bioart (2012-2016)
- International projects: Eurindia (2009 - 2013)
- Network of Excellence: NanoMemPro 2004-2009
- European Doctorate Erasmus Mundus in Membrane Engineering (EUDIME) as associated partner of the University of Calabria
- Doctorate School in partnership between the University of Calabria and the National Research Coucnil of Italy On "Fisical, Chemical and Materials Technologies (founded in 2014)
- Many educational activities are also developed within Research Collaborative Agreements established with Institutions from EU, Middle East, Asia, North Africa, South America and USA
Post Graduate Students come, from Italy as well as from abroad, from European Countries as well as Overseas. In 2015, ITM hosted 42 foreigner visiting scientists.
In 2016, ITM hosted 37 foreign visiting scientists.
In the last 5 years, over 20 full time equivalent fellowships were hosted per annum.
Furthermore, many master thesis were supervisioned (more than 25 per year from 2009 to 2016) and practitioners (over 20 per year).
