Training

The Institute of Computational Linguistics "Antonio Zampolli" provides advanced training in Computational Linguistics.
The high level training activities are carried out both internally and externally and range from various fields of Computational Linguistics to the study of humanistic disciplines supported by computational methods and tools. The many years' experience in the field of training allows to establish and/or strengthen external partnerships, and to train and involve young researchers in new research projects in order to meet the new needs of society, in line with the state-of-the art of the discipline and with the technological progress.

ACTIVITIES
o Teaching in university courses, at national (Bologna, Ferrara, Florence, Macerata, Pavia, Perugia, Pisa, Siena, Venice, etc.) and international (Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University, Venice International University) level. In particular, ILC actively collaborates with the University of Pisa, offering specific courses for the Digital Humanities Degree Program (Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree)
o Membership in PhD teaching board (in particular at the University of Pavia and Pisa)
o Tutoring and co-tutoring of Bachelor's, Master's and PhD thesis in Italy and abroad
o School-work alternating training (universities and high schools)
o Seminars and updating courses
o Organization of international summer schools
