Historical Background STM

The Short-Term Mobility Program was first implemented by Cnr in 1995 to allow short-term funding for young Italian researchers who could and/or wanted access to prestigious international scientific institutions and, at the same time, host eminent foreign scholars in Italy.
Over the years, the Scheme has proved to be a very useful tool for many young researchers, and to date Cnr stands out to be the only European Research Institution that annually finances this highly valued international initiative.
