IFAC - International Federation of Automatic Control

IFAC, founded in September 1957, is a multinational federation grouping the Organizations of its member States (NMOs), each representing scientific and engineering companies that deal with automatic control in their countries. The Federation purpose is to promote science and technology of control in all systems in the broadest way, such as, for example, in the theory and applications in engineering, physics, biology, social or economic sciences. IFAC also deals with the impact of the control technology on society, facing the challenge of the new era in communication, publication and exchange of ideas electronically.
