Abstract

A bioinformatic analyses of publicly available large datasets of transcriptomics and proteomics performed on samples from patients with rare or/and orphan cancer would investigate the existence of patterns or biomarkers and, if successful, would provide evidence in support of performing a screening in these patients for the correct diagnosis and selection of therapies.

Goals

1) to identify, select and collect the omics datasets
2) to perform the analyses of modulated genes, proteins and pathways
3) to perform the analyses of gene / protein mutations
4) reporting of the results of the analyses
