Abstract

The objectives of the proposed research are the CFD and computational structural dynamics (finite element) V&V studies with extensions to FSI for Athena and GPPH for secondary loads tests (pressure gages and slamming panels) and possibly primary loads and possibly MDO.
Longer terms objective is the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) of grillage panels for hydro-structural design variables, objectives and constraints.
