International Funding Initiatives

The National Research Council of Italy (Cnr), through its Institutes and Departments, participates in funding initiatives sponsored by international Foundations and Agencies.

In collaboration with the International Relations Unit, the Research Support and Grant Office coordinates the participation of Cnr Institutes by monitoring submitted and funded applications and assisting local Grant Offices in registering and managing projects through the relevant portals.

Cnr is particularly active in the participation in funding opportunities launched by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a prominent U.S. agency for medical research that oversees 27 research Centers and Institutes and issues funding calls open to non-US organisations.
