Partnerships

CNR-INSEAN, thanks to its large experimental infrastructures and the home developed, state-of-the-art simulation tools, is delivering technical and scientific support to the shipbuilding and boating industry, in order to place CNR in a strategic position of the Blue Growth Economy.

Industrial and scientific partnerships include many prestigious national and international organizations and companies such as:

- the NATO R&T organization, and specifically the Advanced Vehicle Technology (AVT) panel, the European Defence Agency (EDA), the Office of Naval Research (USA), the Italian Navy in the defense sector, and relevant companies (e.g. Finmeccanica, ThyssenKrupp);

- important national and international industries such as: in the shipbuilding and marine equipment sector (Fincantieri, Hyundai, Samsung, Yamaha), in the oil&gas sector (Technip), in the aerospace sector (Airbus, Cira, European Space Agency, Piaggio, Alenia Aermacchi, Dassault, DLR);

- America's Cup consortia ("Azzurra", "Il Moro di Venezia", all the "Luna Rossa" challenges);

- ENEL Green Power in the area of marine energy
