Profile

Mauro Dalla Serra has developed a thorough biophysical and biochemical approach to investigate structural and functional aspects of the interaction between membrane-active molecules and lipid film. In particular he contributed to the field of protein-protein and protein-lipid interaction, highlighting original aspects of the mechanism of action pore-forming proteins. He is associated to SIBPA (https://www.sibpa.it) and ARBRE (https://www.arbre-biophysics.eu), member of the EBSA Executive Committee (http://ebsa.org) and IUPAB vice-delegate (http://iupab.org).
