Dulbecco Open Laboratory

The working project for the creation of the Dulbecco Open Laboratory is dedicated to genomics and proteomics students. The Nobel Prize winner Renato Dulbecco, who was the director of the Human Gemone Section at the ITB CNR and who currently works with the researchers of the ITB as Project Manager, will participate in the founding of the Laboratory.
The Dulbecco Open Laboratory will be equipped to develop technological platforms in the field of genetics, proteomics, bioinformatics and animal models. The project, that will be financed by the Cariplo Foundation for a total of 12 million euros over a period of three years, also aims to open carrier possibilies for researchers.
