Dal quadro al piatto

This project -promoted by the Cnr Press Office (journalist and art historian Sandra Fiore)- is intended to combine art history, nutrition education and the latest research advances in this field through the organization of meetings, guided tours and lectures open to general public.

On the occasion of Expo 2015, the initiative was promoted together with the Department of agri bio sciences (Disba-Cnr) and the Pinacoteca di Brera (Milan) with the objective of giving the public the opportunity to learn about some of the prestigious museum collection -in particular the paintings of banquets and food- taking an opportunity to discuss the Italian culinary tradition, conviviality and science along with experts, researchers and journalists.
