Abstract
E-RIHS PP is the preparatory project for E-RIHS, a pan-European distributed infrastructure supported by 16 Member States - potential founders of the E-RIHS consortium - and participated by four more EU and associated countries. E-RIHS star-design structure has its Central Hub and headquarters in Florence (IT) and comprises National Hubs - possibly organised in Regional Hubs in some countries - encompassing specialised knowledge, fixed and mobile national facilities of recognized excellence, physically accessible collections/archives and remotely accessible heritage data. This project ended in 2019.
Obiettivi
Following some preliminary work done in the framework of the H2020 IPERION-CH project, E-RIHS preparatory phase will start in 2017 and will last three years (2017-2019). The first two will be used to address governance, financial aspects, legal documents and logistics. This will lead to a business plan ready for application to ERIC, or to another suitable legal form, by 2019. The last year will be devoted to negotiations with stakeholders, based on the agreed instruments, further strategic planning and to start up of activities for entering the transition phase. E-RIHS will hopefully be launched as a stand-alone RI in 2021.This project ended in 2019.
