Abstract
The main goal of the project is to create the SoTecIn Factory as a collaborative environment to improve resilience and sustainability of the EU industries by creating and supporting a community of tech- savvy social innovators, connecting them to technology providers and industrial companies, towards turning ideas for a human-centred and resource efficient society into premarket demonstrations.
Social entrepreneurs with industrial and technological background will be encouraged to participate and be part of the EU SoTecIn Factory, that will include actors from civil society, start-ups, SMEs, mid- caps, and large corporations, academia, public authorities, philanthropists, impact financiers and others. SoTecIn Factory serves the EU priority "A European green deal" and its European industrial strategy by giving financial and capacity building support to social innovation ideas aiming at creating longer lasting products that can be repaired, recycled and re-used, developing advanced solutions for resource and energy efficiency, finding supply alternatives to increase the autonomy of the European industry, and developing social entrepreneurial skills for green and digital transitions
