Abstract
The project aims at providing a flexible framework allowing confidential and collaborative information collection, analysis in order to ease autonomous reaction for cyber security among relevant stakeholders.
Cyber-attacks affect every aspect of our lives. The internet network and its players change too fast to be controlled by humans. The canonical security policies and tools are outdated and cannot do nothing against new sophisticated and smart cyber attacks, which can adapt themselves with regard to the environment and make ineffective every countermeasure. The amount of data to be taken into account is too big to be analyzed by humans to get a response in beneficial timing. There is an urgent need for new technologies and solutions to improve defense against cyber attacks.
Our project addresses this concern by providing a holistic approach, heavily relying on confidential information sharing approaches, advanced big data analytics and artificial intelligence mechanisms, also performed in a distributed/localized manner to ease autonomous response planning and execution (in multistakeholders environments).
Goals
Research and development of advanced cyber threat management systems, considering from the sharing to the analysis and reaction capabilities.
