Abstract

The research project is focused on the implementation and evaluation of denoising methods for MRI-CEST images in order to improve the sensitivity of the CEST technique on clinical images. Several denoising algorithms will be investigated, including Non-local mean (NLM), Anisotropic Diffusion (AD) filters and their combination and compared with denoising approaches already implemented by Olea Medical (Gaussian, wavelet and PCA filters).
