Abstract
GISIG as coordinator, together with KU Leuven, is coordinating a consortium to apply with the ERASMUS+ Sector Skills Alliances Call with deadline May the 2nd, 2017.
The overall approach would consist in the different key stages:
· a strategic study to analyse the gaps between the supply and demand in academic and vocational training on space and geospatial ;
· the design and development of an extended Body of Knowledge on EO building further on the BoK for GI S&T and the development of a case-based learning method for the EO sector with several cases/scenario's in sub-sectors such as climate change, smart cities, e-Government, ...;
the development and maintenance of a multi-purpose learning platform that provides access to INSPIRE and Copernicus data & services, allows the creation, maintenance and use of learning materials
