Profile
Dr. Fabio Trincardi (Director) is a senior researcher with interests in sedimentary processes, strata formation and slope stability on continental margins and in the field of Quaternary climate change and paleoceanography. Co-ordinator in the geological mapping of Italian seas (APAT), seismic geomorphology of deep-sea deposits (ENI) and EURODELTA (EC FP5). Contractor in several EC-funded projects including HERMES, EUROSTRATAFORM, PROMESS1, COSTA, EUROCORE and PALICLAS. Participated in 35 cruises (Mediterranean, Pacific, Antarctica), publishing more than 80 refereed papers. Served on the editorial boards of Geology, Marine Geology, Geo-Marine Letters.
