Graphene Related Antibacterial Material. Workshop and Kick-off meeting of the GRAM project
Il 03/07/2025 ore 09.00 - 13.00
Conference Hall, Casa Italia, Le Phung Hieu 18, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi - Vietnam
The GRAM project is funded in the Scientific Cooperation between the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and the National Research Council of Italy (Cnr).
The VAST-CNR collaborative project combines areas of expertises including natural products chemistry, green chemistry and advanced materials for health development and characterization.
The Institute of Chemistry of VAST in Hanoi is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence with extensive experience in the extraction and study of essential oils and molecules obtained from Vietnamese forest plants with antibacterial properties.
The two research Institutes of CNR involved, the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies "Giulio Natta"(Cnr-Scitec) and the Institute of Science and Technology for Sustainable Energy and Mobility (Cnr-Stems), develop innovative materials for health and non-invasive protocols for the detection of material-microorganism interactions.
Cnr-Scitec, project applicant, is oriented towards the development of innovative NMR-based protocols for the functional characterization of molecules/nanoparticles and materials with antibacterial properties; Cnr-Stems is oriented in the development and the production of biocompatible graphenic materials and hybrids.
