The Metaverse, blurring reality and the virtual world, poses transformative possibilities and challenges. A multidisciplinary approach is crucial, encompassing economics, law, and technology. Adapting legal frameworks and governing interpersonal interactions is a key issue.
Additionally, the Metaverse offers unique opportunities for service providers, tech manufacturers, and new financial systems like NFTs and cryptocurrencies. Adapting existing legal categories to regulate these innovations is a challenge.
Citizens actively engage in the Metaverse, demanding a new approach that balances innovation with ethical considerations. Prioritizing citizens in our discussions will shape the future of this digital frontier.
Antonio Scala, Cnr-Isc, will speak about "Information foraging & decision making in digital space"
Antonio Cerasa, First Researcher, Cnr-Irib, will speak about "The impact of the Metaverse on mental health"
