XXXVIII Meeting of the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute

The annual meeting of the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute will take place in Lecce, at Sala conferenze Rettorato Of University of Salento from 20 to 23 September 2013. Invited lectures and topical workshops will be organized to stimulate the discussion on present issues and future perspectives of research in combustion, specially on formation of pollutants, new technologies, and sustainable energy production. This year the meeting will be on the following topics:

-Fire & Safety
-Kinetic of combustion
-Catalytic combustion
-Pollutant formation and control
-Material synthesis
-Stationary and engine combustion
-Biomass and solid fuel combustion
