Abstract

The purpose of this cooperation agreement (the "Agreement") is to set forth the roles and responsibilities of the Parties in relation to: The configuration and setting up of a geo-spatial data infrastructure ("GeoSDI") adapted to DPC's and WFP's requirements, including the development and integration of GeoPortal solutions including tools for data collection and early warning.
GeoSDI would allow WFP develop the information management and geo-spatial capacities of DPC's personnel and strengthen their decision-making and logistical capacity to respond to emergencies and/or disasters.
Under the Agreement these activities will be carried on:
Set up and configuration of the Virtual Machines on the Virtualization Engine (VMWARE ESX) necessary for the Web Portal
Configuration of the web server on the Virtual Machine
Design and implementation of the Web Portal structure
Continuous training by remote of web managers and support in web content start up
Set up and configuration of the Virtual Machines on the Virtualization Engine (VMWARE ESX) necessary for the GRASP System
Configuration of Database and service for the GRASP System
Support in training to practice use of GRASP
