Abstract
Luxottica expressed an interest in exploring the possibility of plasma coatings for plastic/non-plastic lenses, mostly, but not restricted to, related to anti-fog issues.
For this reason, proposes a Remote/On site consulting, intended to give assistance to Luxottica in developing their own anti-fog process on site making use of the plasma rectors already present in Luxottica.In the meantime remote training on the plasma processing of innovative materials will be organized for the personnel of LUXOTTICA.
Obiettivi
The present proposal aims to advice Luxottica in order to move forward with respect to the cited paper, giving an answer to the following issues:
1. Anti-fog performance following Luxottica standard
2. Mechanical and Optical properties should be tested
3. Homogeneity of the process on large area and curved geometry
4. Deposition of a stable hydrophilic coating
