Abstract
The goal of this project is to perform a technical and commercial feasibility study to move femtosecond laser waveguide writing to the market. In particular, the plan is to speed up the maturity level of the technology by further developing the production process of waveguide writing and micromirror fabrication, by setting an actionable IPR strategy (including a market assessment), and by identifying a suitable exploitation strategy for patent/know how valorisation (licensing). The above actions will be performed in collaboration with the partner VitreaLab, a startup company that is devoted to commercializing new integrated illumination solutions
