Abstract

This project is related to the project DIT.AD019.013 - ETLAT, within the framework of the European Defense Agency.
It major goal is to perform a feasibility study of the ETLAT experimental part, via a series of experimental testing at the Nemi Lake.

Obiettivi

The experimental part of the project shall be divided into three steps:
- single transducers shall be tested at bench and pool (industrial facilities) to characterize their acoustic performance; if already available, characterization data shall only be presented by participating members during the preliminary review (Task 1.3);
- fluid-dynamics characteristics of static arrays shall be verified in water tank to validate the fluid-dynamic model;
- the effect of flow on noise shall be tested in a pond in a dedicated facility of CNR-INSEAN.
The characterization of the fluid-dynamic model shall be executed in a water tank located in CNR-INSEAN. For this test, dummy sensors with the same material and dimensions of the real ones shall be used.
