About LDnet

LDnet is an informal network founded in 2011, dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing in local development across rural, coastal, and urban areas in Europe and beyond. The network covers a wide array of themes, from its original focus on social inclusion, job creation, and local economic development to more recent issues such as climate change, the circular economy, and digital transitions. LDnet serves as a bridge between experts, researchers, activists, and policymakers across public, private, and third-sector organizations.
