MAGNET 2024 - VIII Italian Conference on Magnetism

The VIII Italian Conference on Magnetism is promoted by the Italian Magnetism Association (AIMagn). The conference is aimed at presenting and discussing recent experimental and theoretical achievements in fundamental magnetism and its applications, bringing together researchers from Academy, Research Institutions and Companies active in the field of magnetism. The Conference topics range from Fundamental Magnetism and New Frontiers in Magnetism to advancements in Magnetic Materials and their Sustainability and Applications.
The high-profile plenary session speakers who confirmed their participation to Magnet 2024 are:
- Oliver Gutfleisch, Technische Universitaet Darmstadt, Germania
- Denys Makarov, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf e. V., Germany
- Silvia Picozzi, Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche, Chieti, Italy
The Keynote Speakers will soon be announced.
Abstract submission deadline has been postponed to 17 October 2023
The Chairs of the Organizing Committee of Magnet 2024 are Paolo Arosio (University of Milano), Pietro Carretta (University of Pavia), Alessandro Lascialfari (University of Pavia), and Alessandro Ponti (Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche).
Magnet 2024 is hosted by Istituto Lombardo Accademia di Scienze e Lettere, Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche, University of Pavia, and University of Milano).
