10th Symposium "Monitoring of Mediterranean coastal areas: Problems and measurement techniques"

The event, organized by Institute of BioEconomy of the National Research Council of Italy (Cnr-Ibe) and Italian Society of silviculture and forest ecology (Sisef), is addressed every two years to all the scholars of Mediterranean coastal areas. The Symposium is proposed as a place to make known the research work carried out in the last years on the subject of monitoring the Mediterranean, and as an opportunity to present new proposals and promote actions to safeguard the marine and coastal environment.
The event will be structured into the following general topics:
- Flora and fauna of coastal ecosystems: protection, management, monitoring
- Morphology and evolution of coastlines and evolution of coastlines and seabeds
- Coastal and offshore engineeering: energy production and transport, port and offshore structures, water quality, measurements and monitoring, data processing and services, digital twins economi-environmental assessment, regulatory context
- Geography, tourism and landscape of the coastal areas
- Enhancement, safeguardings and dynamics of the territory
- Underwater and coastal cultural heritage
The symposium will also include:
- oral presentations;
- a poster session.

As for the 2022 edition (see https://books.fupress.com/isbn/9791221500301), the publication in full of the accepted works in the Proceedings will be guaranteed, with ISSN, ISBN and DOI codes.
