4th European Conference on the Chemistry of Two-Dimensional Materials (CHEM2DMAT)

The goal of this conference is to provide a gathering point for the community of researchers working, in Europe and worldwide, on 2D materials, covering all areas related to 2D materials' chemistry for composites, foams and coatings, membranes, (bio-)sensing, catalysis, energy conversion, harvesting and storage, electronics, nanomedicine, biomaterials.
Main topics:
- Synthesis, processing and multiscale characterization of 2D materials.
- Bottom-up growth.
- Covalent and non-covalent functionalization.
- Synthetic 2D materials.
- Design of 3D functional materials from layered systems.
The past editions of the conference were held in Strasbourg (2017), Dresden (2019) and on-line (2021). Attached you shall find the program of the last edition, for reference. The next edition will be held in Bologna (Italy), home of the most ancient university of Europe, and a famous tourist destination for art, culture and food. CHEM2DMAT conference will be hosted in the Research Area of Cnr in Bologna, one of the largest in Italy.
