The Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (CNR-IRISS) with "The Thinking Watermill Society" (TTWS), and in collaboration with the "Istituto Italiano di Cultura" of Amsterdam, are gathering a Roundtable on "Technological Innovation and Human Rights" on 21 July 2022 in Amsterdam, from 4 to 5.30 p.m.

Giovanni Carlo Bruno (CNR-IRISS), Letizia Lo Giacco (University of Leiden), and Domenico Vallario (Kosovo Specialist Chambers) will discuss how technology is an importan tool for the dissemination of knoledge. Moreover, it may become a 'key enabler' for the full realization of human rights, without discrimination.

Mario Di Giulio (Pavia e Ansaldo Law Firm) will deliver a keynote speech on technological innovation, digital barriers, and potential risks connected to technology and enjoyment of fundamental rights.

Fulvio Maria Palombino (University of Naples 'Federico II' and CNR-IRISS) will conclude the roundtable with some final remarks.

The roundtable is organised jointly by TTWS and CNR-IRISS within the activities related to their partnership agreement - "convenzione operativa" - signed in 2022 on Migration and Development.
