Project Description:
UrBIOfuture main goal is to bring Europe to the forefront of the bio-based sector by boosting careers, new educational programmes and research activities.
UrBioFuture is funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking, that is a public-private partnership between the EU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium, operating under the Horizon 2020 funding program. The aims of the BBI Partnership is to increase investment in the development of a sustainable bio-based industry sector in Europe and providing environmental and socio-economic benefits for European citizens, increasing the competitiveness of Europe and contributing to establishing Europe as a key player in research, demonstration and deployment of advanced bio-based products and biofuels
