"Nanoscale Excitations in Emergent Materials (NEEM 2015)" is the 2nd bilateral workshop among Italian and Indian researchers focused on the recent advances in the area of nano materials as well as on advanced techniques used to characterize these materials, organized in the framework of one of the existing project of major relevance of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The workshop will provide an important opportunity and a unique forum to exchange ideas among qualified interdisciplinary teams. The event is funded with the support of the Directorate General for the Country Promotion - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as well as the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India with the main aim to promote the scientific and technological exchange and trigger partnership activities among Italian and Indian institutions in an area of great potential interests for research and for industrial companies. Young researchers working in the area of nano materials using both conventional sources and synchrotron radiation facilities are encouraged to contribute.
