Il Convegno “Recent advances in ferro/piezoelectric and multiferroic-based composites” viene organizzato dal gruppo del Cnr-Istec di Faenza coordinato da Carmen Galassi, nell’ambito dell’azione COST MP0904 "Single and Multiphase ferroics and multiferroics with restricted geometries - SIMUFER”. L'evento è dedicato ai materiali compositi ceramici con proprietà ferro/piezoelettriche o (ferro)magnetiche e ferroelettriche. Combinando queste diverse proprietà fisiche nello stesso materiale, i materiali multiferroici rappresentano una promettente alternativa per creare nuovi dispositivi multifunzionali.
The Conference “Recent advances in ferro/piezoelectric and multiferroic-based composites” is organised by the group from the Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics (ISTEC) belonging to the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), chaired by Dr. Carmen Galassi active participant to the COST Action MP0904 "Single and Multiphase ferroics and multiferroics with restricted geometries - SIMUFER”. It is dedicated to ceramic composites with ferro/piezoelectric and both (ferro) magnetic and ferroelectric behavior. By combining these different physical properties in the same material, multiferroics offer a promising route to create multifunctional device.
