Arctic Shipping: Navigation through challenging waters

The COST Action IS1105 "NETwork of experts on the legal aspects of MARitime SAFEty and security (MARSAFENET)", leaded by ISGI-CNR, is organising an Open Workshop that will be held during the week of celebrations of the Arctic Frontiers. Arctic Frontiers supports open and independent dialogue, builds partnerships, and contributes to the discussion about pan-arctic political strategies for sustainable development in the Arctic. The workshop will focus main issues concerning Arctic shipping and in particular the individuation of safety and environmental standards for international shipping and navigation in the Arctic.
