Il Prof. Daniel Cutler dell'University College di Londra focalizzerà la sua attenzione sui meccanismi molecolari che sono alla base della struttura e funzione di alcuni organelli di stoccaggio (Weibel-Palade Bodies), che contengono fattori chiave dei processi infiammatori ed omeostatici.

Prof. Daniel Cutler from the University College of London focused his scientific interests on the molecular mechanisms that regulate the structure and function of a storage organelle, the Weibel-Palade Bodies (WPB), which are found in Endothelial cells. The WPB contain key components of both inflammatory and haemostatic processes. As a rapid-response system, the WPB are of critical importance in initiating haemostatic and inflammatory responses within the rapidly-changing vascular environment.
