Abstract
The present convention establishes a scientific collaboration agreement between the two Parties, with the aim of performing research on topics in the field of Ocean observation by Space Remote Sensing with a particular focus on the synergetic use of various space-borne sensors (altimetry, radiometry, spectrometry) together with in-situ measurements for the retrieval of the 3D physical and biogeochemical ocean state through purely observed-based approach
Goals
This Agreement aims to:
(1) Ensure continuity with the collaboration already underway between ISAC - CNR and CLS (The Multi Observations Component of the Global Monitoring and Forecasting Center in CMEMS - Annex A).
(2) Ensure continuity with the research activities performed at ISAC-CNR in the framework of the OceanMotionFromSpace Marie-Curie Fellowship of Dr. Marie-Hélène RIO
(3) Promote common actions, combining the scientific expertise of the CLS and the ISAC-CNR staff in order to improve the level of participation in joint programs already underway and draw up new proposals for both international and national projects. To this end, the two parties will be able to use the experiences gained in national projects where CLS and ISAC-CNR already participate or in the above mentioned programs of international scientific co-operation or in other international projects.
(4) Start other research initiatives, such as H2020 projetcs, ESA open call and develop them with the aim to reach a common participation in national or international projects.
(5) Promote scientific exchange of staff and students between the two parties to strengthen the scientific collabora
