Abstract
The investigation will regard a monitoring program of emerging organic pollutants in some relevant specie of fish captured in Lake Lugano. The aim of the investigation is to evaluated the potential bioaccumulation of novel priority pollutants (i.e. Polibrominated phenyl Ethers and Perfluorinated compounds) in aquatic organisms.
Two specie of fish were selecteced for the study, since they have important trophic value: perch and shad. These organisms will be sampled in the main four seasons in order to study also seasonal variation. Two sampling sites, in the main sub-basins, of Lake Lugano will be considered.
Goals
Nell'ambito del Progetto con il Canton Ticino sono state svolte attività di monitoraggio del contenuto di PBDE e sostanze perfluorurate in campioni stazionali di agoni e persici nel Lago di Lugano.
