Description

The translation of the "Digesta Iustiniani" into Italian was at first carried out within the research program "Traduzione dei Digesta di Giustiniano: Lessico giuridico storia e dommatica" at the Department of Theory and History of Law of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and later at the Law Department of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Riccardo Cardilli, Aldo Petrucci, Antonio Saccoccio, Massimiliano Vinci, Emanuela Calore contributed to the project realization, under the direction of professor Sandro Schipani. ILC, as a partner of the project, developed tools to texts align in a first phase and then to query the bilingual corpus. Collaborated to the project activities: Eugenio Picchi, Manuela Sassi, Eva Sassolini, Alessandra Cinini. The legal corpus, which is composed of the first 32 books, contains 534.544 Latin language occurrences and 877.262 Italian occurrences. Data format: DBT
