ICT for active and healthy ageing: the PROGRESSIVE project

CNR participates in the project ‘Progressive Standards around ICT for Active and Healthy Ageing’, funded in the context of the Horizon 2020 programme, with the purpose of defining a reference framework for the development of standards in the field of information technologies for active and healthy ageing. The project was approved under the Call ‘Standardisation needs in the field of ICT for Active and Healthy Ageing’ (SC1-HCO-16-2016), and started its activities in October 2016. The project is coordinated by De Montfort University, Leicester (UK), while CNR is involved as a partner, specifically as leader of the Work Package ‘Evaluation and Monitoring’.

The second newsletter is online since the end of January 2018. This issue is dedicated to topics related to ethical issues in the context of ICT for active and healthy ageing. It is possible to receive the upcoming issues of the newsletter via email, by registering here.

The partners of the 'Progressive' project, beside CNR, are: Deutsches Institut fuer Normung E.V (DIN, Germany), Associazione di Normazione Informatica (UNINFO, Italy), Stichting Nederlands Normalisatie Instituut (NEN, Netherlands), De Montfort University (coordinator, UK), The Open University (OU, UK), Asociacion Española de Normalizacion y Certificacion (AENOR, Spain) and the European organisations AGE Platform Europe (AGE), European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL), Telehealth Quality Group EEIG (TQG).
