The National Research Council of Italy (CNR) intends to launch the process for integrating the 2027 operational schedule of the R/V Gaia Blu, in line with the campaigns already approved and the remaining ship-time availability. At the same time, planning will begin for the 2028 campaign schedule. This process will make it possible to define ship-time availability in a coordinated way and to ensure an organic and efficient planning of the scientific activities to be carried out on board the vessel.
In this context, the scientific community is informed that the third call for access to the R/V Gaia Blu will officially open on 4 May 2026. The call will provide all the necessary information for submitting research proposals for the 2027–2028 period, including application procedures, requirements, and updated documentation.
