EDUCATION: SECONDARY SCHOOL LEVEL
NANO Researchers also organize several initiatives for secondary schools, in strict co-operation with their University Department and with local schools in home cities and surroundings, with the purpose to maintain a strong link with teachers and to support them with information, updates, and direct collaboration on request.
Some S3 researchers have developed an ad hoc website.

EDUCATION: PHD LEVEL
NANO Centers promote education at PhD level by training a large number of PhD students who participate in their research activities.
PhD Students from Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) participate in activities at NEST. S3 has played a major role in the establishment of the Graduate School in Nano- and Physical Sciences together with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
