Abstract
The objective of the project is to reinforce the scientific excellence and innovation capacity in the field of electrochemical energy storage on the platform of supercapacitors of IEES-BAS. Therefore, the proposal that follows the BISCAPAS project has as objective to strengthening the closer cooperation and improve the scientific excellence and research profile of staff of the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems "Academician Evgeni Budevski"- Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEES-BAS) through the collaboration with Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - Istituto di Tecnologie Avanzate per l'Energia, CNR-ITAE (Italy) and Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas-Instituto Nacional del Carbón, CSIC-INCAR (Spain). The collaboration between partners will be based on promoting the design of structurally and chemically advanced functional carbon materials, other hybrid materials and the design of key electrode components that can improve the performance of solid-state supercapacitors.
