The third edition of the Biophotonics and Artificial Intelligence School (BPAI 2025), organized by the working group Biosensori Ottici e Biofotonica of the Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica (SIOF), in collaboration with the School on Artificial Intelligence in Health for People Well-being (SchAI), will be held in Florence from 17 to 21 February 2025.
Why attend BPAI 2025?
This international school is dedicated to exploring the intersection of Biophotonics and Artificial Intelligence (AI):
Biophotonics provides powerful tools for chemical and biological detection, as well as biomedical imaging, creating highly complex datasets.
AI—with its cutting-edge paradigms like Machine Learning and Deep Learning—unlocks hidden patterns in these datasets, driving new theoretical and experimental insights.
Participants will gain hands-on training and insights into the latest advancements, applications, and interdisciplinary collaborations within these rapidly evolving fields.
The School is designed for master’s students, PhD candidates, research fellows, post-docs, and researchers from universities, public research bodies, and private laboratories worldwide.
