Open projects:

  • Interplay between turbulence and magnetic reconnection
  • Interplay between thermonuclear and reconnecting instabilities in the framework of the Ignitor program
  • Pressure anysotropy effects in the description of the reconnection process through a gyrofluid approach that takes into account finite ion Larmor radius effects into a fluid description;
  • generation of suprathermal electrons during reconnection events.
