Abstract

The event will be hosted by the National Research Council of Italy, Institute on Membrane Technology (CNR-ITM) and will be jointly organized with the group of Diffusion in Polymers and Membrane separations of the University of Bologna. The Organizing Committee will be chaired by Lidietta Giorno, Cristiana Boi and Alberto Figoli and will be formed by Personnel from CNR-ITM, University of Bologna, The President of the EMS and Conference Committee Members of the EMS Council. The conference will be organise at Hilton Hotel in Sorrento.
The proposal for Euromembrane 2022 has taken into account the "Guide for applicants and organisers-EMS Conferences" and any additional instruction the Council may provided us.
The conference would have a residential style, with participants staying at same conference venue and near area. This will maximize the contacts and exchanges among delegates. In developing the scientific, technical and social programme for the event we would count on the strengths established thanks to the previous organized events as well as to the wide critical mass and expertise in all strategic aspects of membrane science and engineering.

Obiettivi

The purpose of the Workshop is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of EMS. It will be a scientific event to present the latest research works and technological advances in the field and its' areas of application. A compelling program, featuring an interesting line-up of international speakers that will present in-depth information about the latest technologies and products will characterize the event. Oral presentations at the Workshop will be selected by a scientific reviewers and expert in the field. The event will represent also an excellent opportunity for networking, collaborations and partnerships and meet some of the EMS founders among scientist coming from different areas of expertise.
