Ibisba's Workshop at Bioket 2020
Il 12/03/2020 ore 14.00 - 17.00
Lille Grand Palais | 1 boulevard des Cités Unies - 59777 Lille, France
Cnr is partner of Ibisba (Industrial Biotechnology Innovation and Synthetic Biology Accelerator), an emerging, European-based distributed R&D infrastructure that integrates biofoundry operations into the wider framework of end-to-end bioprocess development, the aim being to deliver industry-ready processes.
Ibisba is hosting a workshop on 12 March 2020 in the framework of Bioket 2020, the global conference dedicated to processes and technologies applied to biomass, which will take place on 10-12th March 2020 in Lille.
During this 3-hour session, experts will first set the scene and help us to appraise the current state of play in the biofoundry area and examine how biofoundries are likely to evolve in the future. Afterwards, the Ibisba concept will be spotlighted, looking at its biofoundry activities and how these fit into the wider framework of end-to-end bioprocess development which is being promoted by Ibisba. Moreover, some of the challenges related to injecting industry constraints into early phase bioprocess development will be examined.
This session will bring together leading researchers from the Ibisba network of research facilities, a member of the Global Foundry Alliance and an industry player involved in the development of commercial biofoundries.
The workshop will be a lively combination of talks and debates in which the audience will be invited to play a full, active role providing feedback on their expectations regarding R&D infrastructure services, such as those proposed by Ibisba.
The workshop will take place at 2-5 pm on the 12th March 2020 in the framework of the Bioket conference. Registered Bioket conference attendees are free to participate in the workshop as part of their conference package. Other participants can register free of charge for a 1-day conference pass.
