Recipient Countries

In accordance with the guidelines and programming policies fixed by the Directorate General for Cooperation and Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the three-year period 2013-2015, countries that can benefit from the initiative have to belong to the following geographical areas: North Africa, Middle East and the Balkans and exactly: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Albania.

The geographical proximity of these countries with Italy makes this program particularly strategic for the country to strengthen the relationships and various forms of dialogue and interaction with its neighbors in order to achieve favorable conditions for development, sustainable growth, stability in the Mediterranean and the Balkans as a whole.

 

Beneficiaries

Participation in the selection of graduates and graduated officials residing in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, have to necessarily meet the following requirements:

Degree in the following disciplines:

        Course 1: Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Geological Sciences, Environmental Engineering

   Course 2: Agricultural Sciences, Forest Sciences, Animal Production Sciences, Food Production Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Biological Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences

   Course 3: Physics, Geology, Chemistry, Preservation Sciences-Cultural Heritage, Architecture (Specialization: Restoration, Urban History), Archeology, Science of Antiquity, Philological-Literary and Historical-Arts, Historical Sciences

     

Year of birth: not earlier than 1973

Excellent knowledge of English, preferably with acknowledged certification

 

Benefits

Selected applicants will receive assistance for their accommodation in Italy on arrival and during their stay and a monthly gross allowance of € 1,600.00 to cover living expenses, accommodation, local transportation and a small amount of cash.

Insurance coverage in case of accidents will be guaranteed during the whole stay at Cnr facilities, and possible health expenses will be covered by the Italian National Health Service.

The Program will also cover the cost of the flight from home-country to Italy and back.
