Mission
The Institute of Molecular Genetics IGM-CNR "Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza" is a multidisciplinary center for the study of both normal and pathological cells through a systemic approach.
Our mission is to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying various pathological conditions such as cancer, premature aging, genetic diseases and viral infections through the study of genome alterations and how those affect cellular metabolism and coordinate functions between cells in tissues and organs
