90 years of the Cnr

In 2013, the Italian National Research Council has turned 90 years: this celebration became the occasion to reflect and discuss about scientific research value and its impact on the economic and social life, but also on the difficulties that science still has to overcome to be more and more perceived as a necessary investment for the Country's future.

Ninety years of study, passion, dedication and sacrifices of those who, with their research and ideas, made of the the Cnr one Italian scientific excellences in the world.

To reveal this long exciting enterprise, full of successes, expectations, difficulties and challenges, several events were organized with the involvement of schools, universities, industry, public and private institutions.

Since 1923, an Institution serving the Country:
