Prefazione

Dr. Di Bari has been working under my supervision in the biennium 1972/74 at the Columbia University preparing a research on the «International legal aspects of marine pollution and the rate of international organizations ». She has been following also the activities of the Caracas Conference in which these themes were debated.
I think that Dr. Di Bari's research is a very useful contribution to the better knowledge of the problems of international regulation of marine pollution and I think it will be of interest also in Italy.
