Descrizione: This book provides engineers and students with the theory and application of architectures for digital signal processing through examples ranging from basic CMOS circuits to sophisticated multi-processing systems. It is a complete description of DSP architectures with particular emphasis on hardware implementation of fundamental arithmetic/logic blocks and array processors. However, the description of hardware architectures is not limited to these ones but the author introduces also specific architectures for dedicated DSP algorithms such as DFT/FFT and filters (FIR and IIR) with several examples. Finally, the author takes into consideration also programmable SP architectures for single and multiprocessor systems.
